NYU Wk 8 Inspire Stakeholders Towards Collaborative Partnership Response
A strategy you may use to inspire stakeholders toward collaborative problem solving, evaluation, and decision making at my practicum site
Problem-solving
There are various strategies that can be implemented or utilized to inspire stakeholders towards collaborative partnership. First, I would create a problem-solving step to identify, analyze, and describe the problem. Afterward, I would look at the source of the problem and identify various solutions for the issues, then create implementation policies or guidelines to solving the issues. Furthermore, I would create a method of measuring the result of the implementation to see if it is successful and effective.
Evaluation
Afterward, these problem-solving steps and results will be used during a meeting with the stakeholders so that they themselves can evaluate the problem and solutions and see how successful the results are to see if it worth their time, support, risk, and funding. Secondly, I would utilize negotiation skills, communication skills, and incentives to inspire and persuade the stakeholders.
Decision Making
Once the stakeholders are persuaded and decided to partake in the partnership, the decision-making process will be shared so that the risk can be shared instead of being burdensome on solely one individual. This would require trusting building, transparency, communicative skills, and empathy to maintain a stable collaborative partnership that works together in the problem solving, evaluation, and decision making at my practicum site.
