BCISS 302 ethesda University of California Network Diagram Design Project
I need an explanation for this Communications question to help me study.
A network diagram is a visual representation of network architecture. It maps out the structure of a network with a variety of different symbols and line connections. It is the ideal way to share the layout of a network because the visual presentation makes it easier for users to understand how items are connected. This exercise will give you hands-on knowledge in network map making, which is an important skill to acquire.
Complete Hands-On Activity 6A titled “Network Design Software” found on page 176 in your textbook.
After building a network map using the design tool located at smartdraw, students must save a copy of their map (export as jpg or using a screen capture tool), along with a brief (200-300 word) summary of their map contents, to the discussion area listed for this week. It is recommended that a Word document be created and page 1 used for the summary information, followed by an embedded graphic image of the network map on page 2.
***I have already done Activity 6A and attached the network diagram. Please describe the content of the diagram. It consists of an Internet cloud, two firewalls, Web server, Mail server, and an iMac desktop.***
