Covid 19 and Student Environment Discussion
we will be preparing to write a letter to a representative or an open letter about an issue you are concerned about. This can be a letter about voting rights, healthcare access, urban planning and development, public safety, ballot initiatives, proposed legislation, university policy (i.e. Covid rules), restaurants available at the student union, etc. We will be reviewing materials on metadiscourse and rhetorical strategies as a class, but it will be up to you to determine what to write about.
