LAVC Accumulating Deleterious Alleles Presentation
I’m studying for my Ecology class and need an explanation.
Please create a 4 minute presentation with slides that include talking points. Separately attach a detailed summary of the talking points and what should be talking about for each. This should be a 4-minute verbal presentation so please include as much information addressing the topics (in the separate doc) as possible. To reiterate there should be two attachments the powerpoint presentation or slides w general bullet points and the separate doc attached explaining each talking point. I attached the articles and the questions and information that should be addressed are:
- Evidence of accumulating deleterious alleles
- Discuss possibilities of :
- Founder effect,
- evidence that the island animals are a distinct genetic unit from their source population, (if they are)
- Evidence that demonstrates loss of heterozygosity,
- Also decide if an extinction vortex is active,
- describe disasters and evidence that they caused a population bottleneck
