WLAC Diversity Discussion
For this week’s discussion post, consider the following:
You have just been hired in an early childhood setting that has limited diversity (interpret this how you wish). (1) Discuss ways in which you could build relevant diversity experiences into your environment. (2) Brainstorm ways in which families, communities, and early care and learning professionals influence attitudes about diversity. (3) Use at least one of the links about diversity/inclusion in the “Resources” section in this week’s module to help generate ideas. Be sure to reference ONE of these resources (and/or one of your own) in your response.
