Building Trust and Relationships
An effective leader must know how to build trust and encourage collaboration in the workplace. Remember, even when you are not the official leader, you can still serve as a leader through example and because you are knowledgeable. You can help lead any team that you work with towards great success when you understand how to encourage trust and effective working relationships.- For this discussion, discuss the importance of trust and collaborative relationships. Here are some ideas to get you started:
- How do you define trust between leaders and employees? Between coworkers? Describe a time when you saw trust and collaboration lead to a specific success, or its lack to a specific failure.
- What are some best practices or strategies you can use to build more effective and trusting relationships?
