Part One–Initial Post
In 300 words or more, analyze any one of the three documentaries/films. Your analysis should focus on Asian American topics/issues, including but not limited to the topics discussed like family, culture, and identity. You can also discuss the struggles of the first generation and the second generation. Remember to end your post with a question to encourage discussion.
First Part–Introduction and a brief summary of the film/documentary
Second Part–Identify, analyze, and discuss the various Asian American issues/problems/topics reflected in the film/ documentary.
(You have to use at least two direct quotes. You should cite any quotes like this: “Direct quote from the book” (Author’s last name, p. #). For example, Folklore is “informal traditional culture” (McNeill, p. 14).
