SDSU Violence Prevention Program Project
Each student will research a school program. Create a handout about the program that highlights the important aspects of the program and would entice your (mock) school staff members to become interested in this program. Use what you have learned about data in this presentation.
- Prove why you need this program. Let us know about the potential of the program, and how your school specifically needs it. Prove this with mock data from your school (e.g., needs assessment or school records);
- Tell how you will implement the program include logistics and resources needed, (personnel, space, $, time, etc.);
- Be creative and convincing!!
Some program ideas may be violence prevention, substance abuse prevention, bullying prevention, truancy prevention, homework clubs, playground programs.
