Aveda Institute Chicago Environmental Science Preservation Plan Question
I’m studying for my Environmental Science class and need an explanation.
A developer plans to build a series of condominiums on the edge of a wetland. In an attempt to protect the wetland from damage resulting from construction of the condos, the developer pledges to create a preservation plan.
Explain why a preservation plan is inappropriate for this project. Suggest a more appropriate kind of land conservation plan for the wetland, and describe two sustainable land-use strategies that should be part of this plan.
