Topic is Color perception.
Instruction:
The final for this class consists of a research paper on one Optics related topic. You can choose one of the same topics covered in the group presentations or you can pick up a scientific issue pursued during the laboratories, such as phenomenon, experimental method, or validity of a formula, and place the issue in a broader perspective. You will have to find the material for your project through the library or the internet. The textbooks can be a good starting point, and the instructor will be available as a resource. Verbatim quotations from online sources should be properly cited, as the paper will be scanned for plagiarism. The paper must include at least one original figure (picture, plot, illustration, picture,…) that you have created or calculated from scratch. Your paper must be limited to 5 pages including figures (one-inch margin, no less than 1.5 line spacing, no less than 11pt font). You must submit the original code, PowerPoint, … that you have used to prepare the original figure(s).
