Think about deviance in sport. What example(s) comes to mind for you? Deviance in sport includes such things as gamesmanship, cheating, gambling, violence and/or drugs. After reading about the several areas of ‘deviance’ below, CHOOSE ONE of the topics and develop a short paper (3 double-spaced pages not including references or title page, 12 pt, Times New Roman font) on whether you believe the deviance or violence you chose to write about is fair or foul in sport. Include a description of the event or incident that pertains to your choice of topic found below. Don’t forget your references.
