NMCC Reasons behind Rooting For a Sport Team Discussion
Directions: Choose one (1) of the following and compose a short (250-500 words) five-paragraph essay that includes all of the major parts of the essay (including a three-point thesis) and is relatively free of grammatical errors. Leave yourself time to proofread.
1. There are many reasons people choose to root for, follow, and cheer on various sports teams. Write an essay explaining three of those reasons.
2. Choose a movie you’ve seen recently and write a review for that movie. Keep in mind that not only should this essay make an ultimate judgment call on whether the movie is worth viewing, but it should also include some analysis and examples to support your argument.
3. If you could have any job in the world, what would that job be? Write a five-paragraph essay describing what that job would be, and why you would be best suited for that job. Include your reasons in a three-point thesis and use the body of the paper to discuss, supporting with examples as you go.
